Purpose and Mission 

The LJPC Chancel Choir helps lead the church in worship and ministry by singing at the 8:45 and 11:00 am services most Sundays during the months of September through July. Other ministries include a Christmas Concert, a Spring Concert, special services during the year, and singing with other church choir members. The mission of the LJPC Chancel Choir is to glorify God and minister to both its congregation and its community by leading worship through the expressive and artistic singing of meaningful choral music. the Chancel Choir is a family which seeks to support its members in musical, personal and spiritual growth.

How To Join! 

• Membership is open to all singers high school age and older who enjoy singing and have the ability to sing in tune. 

• Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7:00 -8:30  and Sunday mornings from 10:10-10:55 in Slusser Hall (Life Center).

• To join the choir, call Chancel Choir Director, Dr. Keith Pedersen, to schedule an interview at 858-729-5545.
